SCONES WITH STRAWBERRIES 2 cups all purpose flour 1/4 cup sugar (plus a little to sprinkle on top) 1 Tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/4 cup heavy cream (plus extra for brushing on top) 2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup strawberries Directions Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together Mix heavy cream and vanilla extract together Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients Mix till dough forms Put some flour on a flat surface Put dough on flour and bring together in about a 10 inch round or rectangle. Use heart shape cookie cutter (3 1/2 inch at the widest) Brush tops with heavy cream and sprinkle with sugar Bake 415* 15-18 minutes Cool 10 minutes before putting the drizzle on them Strawberry Drizzle 1/2 cup 10X sugar 1 tablespoon milk 1 tablespoon seedless strawberry jam Mix together till well combined Drizzle over scones THE GOLDEN THOUGHT OF INSPIRATION Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so.
