$13 DIY Backdrop Stand for Video and Photography

Trying to do YouTube on a budget? Me too! Here is a quick video about my DIY PVC Backdrop Stand. I’ve seen MANY videos on these so this is not my invention, but I thought I’d show my Savings Squad how I’m building my YouTube and Poshmark studio on a shoestring budget! Here’s what you’ll need 3 ten-foot, 3/4” PVC pipes cut into the following measurements: (pipe one) Two 54” pieces (pipe two) Four 30” pieces (pipe three) Four 12” pieces You will also need 4 end caps, 4 t-caps, and 2 elbow caps...make sure they are all for 3/4” pvc. For fabric I purchased 4 yards of heavyish dress fabric, but you could get away with 3 yards and any fabric that appeals to you, shower curtains, window curtains, sheets, etc. Optional: 2-4 A-Clamps to pull fabric taut.
