This is a cinematic review of the Epomaker Galaxy70 Keyboard, a creamy yet budget pre-built keyboard that’s super satisfying to type on. Thank you Epomaker for sending me this keyboard for review. Despite that, this video is still an honest representation of my thoughts on the keyboard. == Thanks for stopping by! == If you enjoy this type of content, subscribing and liking is the best way to support my small cinematography channel, so I can continue to make and improve high quality videos for you guys to enjoy. About This Video

I’m always chasing that clack/cream “holy trinity” vibe, but my simple keeb-brained self doesn’t always want to go down the full custom-build rabbit hole. In this cinematic review, I tested the Epomaker Galaxy70 to see if it can deliver a truly creamy, premium typing experience for under $100—straight out of the box. I cover the external hardware first: it’s a 75% gasket-mounted board with an aluminum knob, PBT keycaps, customizable RGB, a wireless dongle tucked by the arrow keys, and a light bar that shows battery life. Up top you’ve got the power switch and USB-C for wired use. Then I open it up and break down the internals that make the sound happen: an aluminum shell and five layers of sound-enhancing material (poron foam, ISP switch pads, PET acoustics, EMDP switch foam, and a PET bottom pad), plus pre-lubed stabilizers and a flex-cut PCB with south-facing LEDs. I went with the Zebra linear switches (hot-swappable), and all of it comes together for one of the creamiest typing experiences I’ve had at this price—complete with a little flex for that pillow-typing feel. I also talk software, latency, and polling rate (1,000Hz wired), what I didn’t love (it’s heavy), and my final verdict for anyone shopping entry-level customs or budget boards with premium sound.
