About This Video

In this video, I put the Logitech Superlight—aka the “king” of lightweight gaming mice—head to head with a budget challenger that genuinely caught my attention: the Chilkey Glacier L. It’s lighter, it’s fast, and it’s way cheaper… but the real question is whether it can actually unseat the Superlight. I break down the basics first: size (4.6 x 2.4 in), weight (47g), build quality, and the overall feel. The Glacier uses Chilkey’s Fog Blue switches rated for 100 million clicks, has a tactile scroll wheel, grippy matte coating, and PTFE skates that glide great even on my felt desk pad. Then I get into what matters for competitive play: the PixArt PAW3950 sensor, up to 30,000 DPI, and up to 8K polling. Realistically though, I still think 3200 DPI and 1000Hz is all you need, and both mice do that flawlessly. Where Logitech still wins is battery life (about 100 hours vs Glacier’s ~60 at 1K) and overall tank-like build. But in comfort, weight, scroll wheel feel, and especially stock skates (Superlight 2… these are garbage), the Glacier surprised me—in the best way. At $99 vs $180, I’d call the Glacier the better value, and honestly, the new “king” for my preferences.
