In this video I break down the real-world differences between the Sony ZV-E10 II (ZV “Mark II”) and the Sony A6700, because I know a lot of you are stuck choosing your first Sony ecosystem camera or deciding on a serious hybrid upgrade. The biggest thing I cover first is value: the ZV-E10 II is the newer, cheaper body and it finally uses the NP-FZ100 battery, which everyone loves. If you’re a beginner and you want a solid starting point (especially with the updated kit lens and power zoom support), the ZV-E10 II makes a lot of sense. But I also talk about the deal-breakers depending on how you shoot. If you’re planning long, continuous video recording, I’m not recommending the ZV-E10 II because overheating is a real concern (a lot of creators have already tested that). The A6700 costs more, but it earns it with features that matter for hybrid shooters—like 4K 120fps, AI features/tracking, and overall “best of both worlds” performance. My personal pick is the A6700 as a travel or B-cam, because my FX30 is amazing for filmmaking, but the A6700 is stronger when you need both photos and video in one body.
