To qualify for the six free items, I had to spend around 1,500 in-app first. For me, that spend wasn’t a big deal because I chose items I can actually use for my photography/product showcase and mini video production work. My advice is simple: do a quick cost ratio. If Temu offers you “free” items with a minimum spend, check if the total value you’re getting is actually higher than what you’re forced to spend—and don’t buy anything you don’t need just because the free stuff looks enticing.
