What I’m really pushing here is this: if you want a capable phone that consistently captures good video, good photos, and stays usable for years, the iPhone is still the safer bet. Apple’s thing has always been efficiency, long-term software updates, and performance that doesn’t fall off a cliff after a couple of years—especially if you’re a heavy camera user. Even if iPhone photos aren’t always “the best of the best” in every scenario, the baseline output looks incredible and is often on par with flagships. So before you decide, watch actual performance tests instead of trusting the spec sheet like it’s the whole story.
