Portland, Oregon — the “war zone” you’ve been warned about! Join me as I bravely navigate the dangerous streets filled with… latte art, food trucks, and friendly locals. From the terrifying sound of acoustic guitars in the park to the chaos of people politely waiting for crosswalks, this on-the-ground report reveals the shocking truth about daily life in this so-called battleground city. See what’s really happening beyond the headlines — no body armor required. __________________________________________________________________________ This is a Travel & Events channel (with the occasional other topic). About This Video

I’m Gr8fully Tedicated, and in this Portland, Oregon travel vlog I decided to “bravely” cross the Cascades into the so-called war zone we’ve all been warned about. You know the story: stores burned down, rebuilt, then burned down again. So I took mass transit from the far east side, rolled past the Moda Center, headed into downtown, and kept my eyes peeled for smoke, chaos, and… well… anything resembling the headlines. What I actually found was a peaceful Sunday: public transit running, people eating and having a good time, and businesses like Pioneer Courthouse Square, the Apple Store area, and more looking pretty serene. I even asked locals and a security guard point-blank if they’d seen burned-down stores—both said no (the only drama mentioned was a past propane explosion in a cart, which is a bit different). I wrapped up over by OMSI and the Oregon Rail Heritage Center, still at a grand total of zippo burned buildings. My takeaway? Be curious, not judgmental—and if you’re coming to Portland, bring coffee, not Kevlar.
