I know you guys hate me right now because I disappeared for a hot minute—but hear me out. A lot happened this year: I started my professional full-time work at Amazon as a software engineer, accepted a master’s offer from Oxford, and life just got busy enough that pulling out my camera for more than 20 seconds felt impossible. That’s also why I’ve been more active on TikTok, but I’m trying to change that and actually show you what my real routines look like again. In this vlog, I’m updating my first personal website because it was looking way too plain. I wanted something minimal but not tacky, so I took a fractal tree I coded in Processing (the one I posted on TikTok) and tried to bring that vibe onto my site. I walk through the idea—setting up the canvas, using angles, and the whole push/pop + rotate approach—then I integrate it into my React site using React P5 Wrapper. It works… but it looks so ugly at first, so I spend time fixing sizing and making it feel clean. After that, it’s a normal day: lunch (steamed rice + chicken) while watching Chainsaw Man, then I grind through a very theoretical DNN/neural networks assignment. I also unbox a robot arm and end the day with a paint night—because balance, apparently.
