About This Video

I can’t believe we’re already halfway through August—fall is basically around the corner, and I know the last few months of the year just fly by. So in this video I’m in that ā€œlock in and get focusedā€ mindset, taking you along for a busy, productive week in my life as a self-employed artist. I start by packing orders from my recent shop update (new stickers, mystery sticker bags, and mini coloring books), and I talk about a big workflow change I’ve made: I decided to stop making my shop stickers at home and outsource them instead. This is my second round of packing since switching, and it’s been so convenient having everything ready to go—it cuts down on packing time a lot. After orders, I jump into Patreon work because I fell a little behind after the shop update. I’m finishing the second printable coloring page for the month and I themed my Patreon art around camping—August feels like the beginning of fall to me, and I love that transitional vibe when the weather cools and spooky season starts creeping in. I also share a new project I’m working on for October: I want to host my own coloring challenge called ā€œFrtober,ā€ using free coloring pages (and an optional A5 book version in my shop), likely every other day instead of daily. Then I prep and pack Patreon happy mail, chat through my Patreon tiers, and wrap up by creating my monthly wallpapers for newsletter subscribers and patrons.
