About This Video

Happy Halloween—and happy last day of Fructober! In this cozy color with me, I’m finishing the final Fructober page by coloring Benny the bear trick-or-treating under a big glowing moon. I walk you through the exact supplies I’m using (my Ohuhu alcohol markers that I’ve had for just over two years, a few Copics to replace colors that are running out, and my Just Art acrylic markers for the fun finishing touches), plus my official Fructober coloring book. I also share how I kept the Fructober designs intentionally simple, so you can either keep it quick and cozy or add your own backgrounds and extra details. As I color, I share my go-to alcohol marker tips for smoother large areas like grass and sky: I do multiple passes to really saturate the paper, I pre-pick 2–4 colors so I’m not hunting mid-blend, and I work quickly because alcohol marker layers dry fast. For texture, I add stippling dots and little tapered ā€œbladesā€ of grass, then finish everything off with acrylic marker highlights (like shiny candy wrappers) and a starry sky using bigger stars plus clustered dot ā€œstarlight.ā€ I also mention the mini narrated Fructober stories I posted as Instagram reels and YouTube shorts, and I wrap up with a flip-through of my favorite pages from the challenge.
