About This Video

I’ve been jersey swapping in Photoshop for over six years, and in this video I break down the smartest way to do it in 2026 by blending a custom ChatGPT prompt with a clean, traditional Photoshop workflow. I put this system to the test during the NBA Draft with a real deadline: 30 teams, one player, every jersey done ahead of time. The key is keeping your foundation locked—manual cutouts are a non-negotiable for clean edges—then using a white background screenshot of your player plus jersey/shorts reference images to get AI to generate a solid base swap fast. From there, I show exactly how I finish it like a pro inside Photoshop: convert to smart objects, isolate only the jersey, warp it with a 3x3 grid, and use opacity around 70% to line everything up clean. I also cover the fixes that make or break realism—rebuilding missing logos, deleting busted marks with Generative Fill, perspective warping real team logos into place, and making sure your player treatment is applied to the full image (not pieces). If AI gives you the wrong person, I explain the simple reset that usually fixes it so you can keep cranking swaps without losing your mind.
