In this video I’m showing you how I make personalized cups without using a Cricut, plus how I make my own stickers at home. I actually personalized about 40 cups for our family reunion this summer, and these cups were from Target—beautiful tropical colors with matching lids and straws. To make it easy (and budget-friendly), I used parchment paper, clear packing tape, scissors, and my printed design to create custom stickers you can put on cups or anything else around the house. I walk you step by step through how I cut my design up first (I like it better as separate pieces instead of one big sticker), then how I lay packing tape on parchment paper to create the sticky base. After that, I place my cut pieces on the tape, cover them with another layer of tape, and cut everything out with a little “edgy” zigzag/oval shape for dimension. The trickiest part is separating the parchment paper from the tape, but once you get it started, it tears off pretty easily and you’re left with a sticky backing you can press onto your cup. To finish the cup, I add waterproof self-adhesive vinyl letter stickers for names. My biggest tip is: don’t press the letters down right away—place them first, adjust spacing, and once you’re happy, press firmly. That’s it—custom cups and stickers with no Cricut needed.
