In this video I’m showing you how I put together simple “We Will Miss You” / farewell party decorations that work for so many occasions—retirement, a co-worker leaving, going away to college, relocating, or just a sweet miss you setup. I start by blowing up the letter balloons, and I’ll be honest—I like to use my electric balloon pump because it just works better for me than a manual pump. For the letter balloons, I take the straw and poke it in to break the seal, then use the attachment to inflate. Next I string balloons using the balloon strip (you just pop them into the holes), which makes hanging the balloon banner so much easier—just tape it right onto your backdrop. Then I make a balloon flower using the portable flower-shaped balloon clips (so easy!), hang up my silver tinsel fringe backdrop with tape and tacks so it’s easy to take down and save, and add my balloon flowers across the top with double-sided tape. I finish it off by taping up the “WE WILL MISS YOU” banner, adding heart balloons between the words, and hanging star garland right above it all. Simple, pretty, and perfect for honoring someone you’ll truly miss—have a royal day!
