Hello friends and welcome to Esther’s Royal Party Designs! In this video I’m putting together a super fun Barbie party setup that’s easy, inexpensive, and still gives you that “wow” moment when your guests walk in. I start with my backdrop using the Barbie fringe curtain, and I’ll show you my little trick for hanging it up so you can reuse it later—because I don’t like ruining my decorations. Instead of using the sticky strip on the curtain, I use tape and tacks so it comes down clean and I can save it. Then I build out the balloon decor with an organic-style balloon garland and a balloon column (tower). I use my balloon sizer (mostly the 8-inch hole) so everything looks consistent, and I make quads to prep for the column. For the garland, I attach balloon clusters using 260 balloons, then secure it to the wall with ribbon and tape (I even show you where to add extra “security” so it stays put). To make it fuller, I add extra balloons and my favorite 5-inch balloons for dimension, plus starburst balloons with glue dots for that extra pop. Once the banner and column are in place, you get the final Barbie birthday party look—budget-friendly and totally royal.
