hi, i’m emma ♡ in this cozy little video i unbox and try the arrtx 126 colored pencils, and i also flip through the arrtx a5 sketchbook i’m using for all the tests. colored pencils aren’t my main medium, so i go into it knowing it might be a bit challenging—but that’s honestly part of the fun. i start by swatching the set so i can see the range and how the colors feel on paper, then i ease in with some cute, colorful dessert drawings (because if i’m testing art supplies, i need something sweet and low-pressure to start). after that, i do a more relaxing draw-with-me and make four little landscape drawings inspired by the seasons—summer, spring, autumn, and winter. it’s a nice way to see how the pencils handle different vibes: bright skies, soft spring colors, warm autumn tones, and cooler winter shades. if you’re thinking about getting a big pencil set, this video is basically my first impressions + a cozy “let’s make art together” moment, with lots of simple ideas you can copy in your own sketchbook.
