hi everyone ♡ in this cozy paint-with-me, i’m trying out paul ruben’s 24 ocean seascape watercolor set and just letting the colors do their thing. i went in with the goal of making an ocean-y little painting (think seascapes, sunsets, and those refreshing beachy tones), and i focus on how the palette feels while you’re actually painting—like, are the colors easy to reach for and do they naturally work together without a ton of overthinking. i also share my thoughts on the sketchbook they sent over, because paper quality can seriously make or break watercolor. overall, this video is more of a calm, cozy testing session where i paint along, get a feel for the set, and enjoy the process—perfect if you’ve been curious about ocean palettes or you just want something relaxing to have on while you paint with me ♡
