In this Plan With Me, I’m setting up my Aura Estelle Magnet Daily Planner starting February 7th, but it’s also a real-life chitchat about what’s been going on with me lately. I’m dealing with being sick for weeks, so I share what I picked up from a local health food store (Atlanta area) to support my sinuses and overall detox goals—like echinacea, a greens blend, and sour salt bitters. I also talk through how I’m approaching it: getting back on vitamins, drinking teas daily, and cleaning up my diet (less meat, more fruits/veggies, and fish). I also get really transparent about life as a special needs mom—especially the frustration and worry that comes with schooling, finances, and long-term independence. I explain why I’m considering moving my son back to public school and adding a tutor, because the self-paced online option just hasn’t been working for him. For the actual memory keeping, I print square photos on my Canon QX20 (I switched from the 2x3 card size because I don’t like the elongated look), add stickers and washi, and keep journaling simple with short captions. This is one of those days where I’m not writing a whole novel—I’m just documenting the moments: bookstore, eating out, Michaels, Goodwill, and a few cozy details along the way.
