In today’s video I’m sharing a real life update (we’ve officially moved back in), plus what my journaling and planning has looked like lately. Honestly y’all, I haven’t been planning at all—even though my planners are decorated, I just don’t have the motivation. I’ve been giving myself grace because every day doesn’t require a full plan, and the end of the year has felt slower for me. I also talk a little about how my clinical depression (MDD), anxiety, and seasonal depression have been affecting my energy and creativity. What I have been enjoying is memory keeping—especially adding photos with a few words. I moved my memory keeping into a Moterm rings binder (even though this year really solidified that I’m not a rings girl), and I’m using Happiness Handmade stickers to keep it cozy and simple. I’m also loving my Canon Selphy QX20 portable printer for picture memory keeping—being able to print collages and different layouts makes it so easy to capture everyday moments like the gym, movies with my son, Thanksgiving food, and little wins like YouTube milestones. The biggest takeaway: you can still document your life softly, even when motivation is low—pictures + a few honest sentences counts.
