We went live to do what you all keep asking for in the comments: real-time, no-BS help picking tools and setting them up. The goal wasn’t a polished demo—it was basically a mini consult. If you’ve ever thought “Can you help me set up Motion for my team?” or “What software should I use for XYZ?” this is exactly the format we’re experimenting with. We also did one quick plug for our free software recommendation quiz, because we’ve turned the same 3–5 questions we ask in consults into a simple workflow you can run yourself. The main deep dive was a sneak peek at Motion “Flows” (Motion’s new project templates). Our big takeaway: most people don’t struggle with Motion—the hard part is defining your process. Flows let us simplify statuses (to-do / in progress / complete) and move the actual process into stages, with tasks that only get created when the stage starts. That means less clutter, better focus, and tasks auto-scheduling onto the right person’s calendar only when it’s their turn. We also answered scheduling questions (like locking tasks during meetings and how recurring tasks behave), plus we previewed topics like Motion + Zapier, Superhuman AI Search, and Arc Search.
