In this video, I’m sharing my original music video for “Love In Slumber” — a dreamy, hazy little story that lives in that in-between space: when you wake up and the feeling is still there, but the person isn’t. The lyrics are basically my brain looping the same question over and over: “Was that real, or did I just want it to be?” It’s soft, romantic, and a little painful in the prettiest way — like you’re floating on memories you can’t break free from. I wrote this around the idea of parts — part one, part two, and me waiting for “part three” to finally happen. It’s that paralyzed feeling when someone shows up in your dreams, plays with your heart, and then disappears again. And if dreams won’t bring them, then reality has to — so I keep waiting, no finish line, just hoping they’ll finally see the signs.
