In this video I’m showing you a real 2026 problem: finding quality leads for freelancers, agencies, and local service providers is still a challenging task. So instead of doing the hectic work of going to Google Maps, scraping one by one, and saving into a file, I walk you through building your own Google Maps Local Business Data Finder. The idea is simple: you choose a business category (doctor, electrician, cardiologist, marketing agency, coffee shop), then pick city, region, and country, and my app pulls the business details for you. I explain how the whole platform works—dashboard, saved search, export history, and the advanced filter system. Under the hood, it’s a full-stack Next.js project that calls Google Maps/Places API properly (not unsafe scraping that can get your IP blocked). I also walk you through the code architecture (API routes, components, hooks, libraries), plus the exact environment variables you must set: Supabase URL/key for storing results and reducing repeated API calls, and your Google Maps API key. Finally, I show the full setup on your machine (Node 20+), install dependencies, run the app, and test the lead search. If you see errors, it’s usually because your Google API billing/credits aren’t enabled—once you add payment and activate the right APIs, you can start generating unlimited local business leads the clean way.
