Last month I spotted the Lofree Flow 2 (84) in a “day in the life” video and I was instantly hooked. I’ve been using gaming keyboards for a long time, and they definitely serve a purpose, but I’m not into the RGB, loud switches, and flashy look anymore. I wanted something minimal, clean, and more professional for my setup, so I reached out to Lofree to send me one for an honest review—no glazing. In this video I unbox it, show what’s inside (cable, dongle, stickers, Windows keycaps), and do a quick typing test with the Void silent switches. What I like most is the premium feel: aluminum body, great keycaps, and a design that weirdly reminds me of an Apple keyboard. The notch doesn’t bother me—in fact, it’s part of why I chose it—and the slider ended up being way more useful than I expected for volume and brightness (Fn + slide). Battery is solid if you keep backlight off (up to 120 hours), but drops hard with it on (around 17 hours). It also supports VIA, so if you’re a power user you can set up macros and shortcuts without turning it into a complicated keyboard. It’s not perfect though: no keycap puller in the box, and there’s no storage slot for the USB dongle. Those are annoying oversights, but not deal breakers for me. Overall, it’s a clean, quiet, premium keyboard that I’m happy to use as my main one.
