About This Video

In this video I break down the exact playbook that took my apps from $0 to my first $100 in revenue — and why that first $100 is honestly the hardest milestone. You don’t need thousands of downloads or a massive budget. I made my first $100 when I barely had any users, and the biggest shift was stopping the “planning mode” and just shipping. Perfect design, 10 features, a fancy icon… none of that matters if the app doesn’t exist. Every app I launched (even the ones that flopped) taught me how to design simpler, ship faster, monetize better, and improve my ASO. Then I go step-by-step through idea selection and validation, plus the parts that actually move revenue: ASO, onboarding, and the paywall. I show what I look for in keywords (popularity over 20 and difficulty under 60), how I place keywords in the title/subtitle/description, and how I check if a niche is worth it by looking at competitor revenue. Finally, I share what I focus on after launch: one main feature that works perfectly, clean UI/animations (haptics are a bonus), and iterating based on analytics. The goal is simple: ship, optimize, monetize smartly — then iterate your way from $100 to $500 to $1k.
