Core starts with two-bureau monitoring, monthly score updates, and up to two financial accounts monitored. Advanced adds three-bureau monitoring, up to five accounts, and scam reimbursement up to $5,000—while Total goes all-in with daily score updates, $3 million in identity theft coverage, up to $10,000 in scam coverage, and a consultation with a US-based identity specialist. Then I get into the part that matters: value. The pricing jump is the elephant in the room, and in my opinion the Total tier doesn’t justify nearly tripling the cost compared to Aura—especially when Aura includes three-bureau monitoring from day one, plus VPN, antivirus, and a password manager without upselling.
