RODE Call Me Sound Test: Clear Audio or Just Hype?

#rodecallme I give you a quick listen to the new RODE Call Me update and show you exactly what it sounds like. We’re using StreamYard for this, but I’m not going to cover the full setup here—that’s for another video. Instead, I want to focus on the audio quality itself. So here’s the setup: I’m speaking into a RODE mic connected via XLR into my RODECaster, while my guest is calling in from his MacBook using DJI mics. He’s at a Starbucks, so there’s some background noise, and I’m here at home in a quieter environment. Despite that, the audio sounds pretty good for what it is. I’m running everything on separate tracks to keep things organized, and I’ll show you how to send the call code at callme.rode.com to connect. Once connected, you’ll notice some minor sync issues because we’re both on the same audio channel, but the clarity is still solid. I hope this gives you a good idea of what to expect.
