That means comfy sparkly sandals, a better jewelry organizer that keeps necklaces from tangling, pre-soaked makeup remover rounds, and a collapsible travel diffuser for our curls. For tech, we skip the laptop and big books and bring a Kindle, earbuds, a backup battery, and our portable fans. And for the cabin and beach days, we’ve learned what’s worth it (magnetic hooks, cruise lanyards, AirTags, a beach bag, and our own snorkel gear) and what isn’t (towel clips for the pool, laundry baskets, and bringing your own beach towel). The biggest takeaway: stop packing for every possible scenario and start packing for comfort—not perfection.
