Sea day number two on NCL Bliss was all about slowing down and doing cruising the way we love it—relaxed, easy, and full of little “treat yourself” moments. We started with a quick breakfast (Taste and Savor look exactly the same, so honestly just pick one and go in), and then headed straight up to Spice H2O. It’s our favorite sea-day morning spot because it’s adults-only, the hot tubs are great, and if you need to cool off you can literally walk through the waterfall. It did get crowded fast (everyone had the same “peace and quiet” idea), so we shifted gears and grabbed lunch at The Local—our go-to for sea days. I went full appetizer mode with hot wings, pretzel bites, and the spinach artichoke dip I could not stop thinking about… and yes, we finished with a hot fudge sundae. The highlight of the day was the wine and cheese tasting. It’s $25 per person, guided, super relaxed, and they give you a tasting chart so you don’t feel lost—even if you’re brand new to wine. Our favorite pairing was the goat cheese with the sauvignon blanc (mind-blowing). After some reading time on the Waterfront and in the Observation Lounge (quiet, comfy, and usually snacks), we did Icon again, had dinner in the Manhattan Room, and ended the night with live piano music at District Brew House. If you think sea days are boring, this one might change your mind.
