In this Flodesk tutorial for beginners, I walk you through how to get started in Flodesk from signup to sending your first email. I show you the fastest way to create an account (I prefer “sign up with Google” to keep things easy), then I tour the dashboard so you know where to find Emails, Forms, Workflows, Audience, and Analytics. From there, we build a new email using Flodesk’s templates, preview it on desktop and mobile, and customize it like a simple text editor—highlight text, change fonts and colors, swap layouts, and add new blocks. I also show how to add things like a link bar (and I point out one small drawback: sometimes adding a block jumps you down the page, so you just scroll back up to find it). Then we move into the sending steps: set your “from” name/email, write a subject line and preview text, pick recipients (individuals, CSV upload, or segments), and either send now or schedule for later. After that, I cover Forms to grow your list and explain why segments matter for staying organized. Finally, I demonstrate Workflows so you can nurture leads with triggers and timed delays (I even change a 30-day delay to 3 days), and I wrap up with where to check performance in Analytics.
