Exploring Mexico by Train (Tren Maya)

Welcome to Tren Maya (also known as the Maya Train). This train opened in 2024 and already winds itself extensively through the Yucatán Peninsula. By the time the train route is complete it'll wind its way through five different states in Mexico! Recently we had to fly home to the USA from Cancun for a conference and we opted to take the train from Mérida to Cancun instead of driving our truck those extra hours off route.
