After someone anonymously reported us to the FAA, we were told we could not fly our drone until we passed the Part 107 test to become a commercial drone pilot. It was a bit scary, a lot confusing, but in the end we’re more confident drone pilots thanks to some amazing study materials from The Pilot Institute. Since Chris passed the Part 107, everything was going great until we received a SECOND call from the FAA again a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully, because Chris had his Part 107 license on hand, all was good and we didn’t receive any sort of fine.
