You’ll see a lot of my repeat themes: I get picky with oversaturated brands like Free People, I lean into larger sizes, and I prioritize “substantial” pieces (longer sleeves/length, better fabrics, or anything that just feels like more garment). I also talk through why sell-through rate matters more than just hearing a “BOLO brand” online. Brands like Pact, Halara, Tommy Copper, Vermont Country Store, and certain Lily Pulitzer pieces can move fast, but the exact style, seasonality, and especially size can dramatically change your results. On the style-based side, I’m still obsessed with sheer/meshy layering tops, crochet maxi skirts, and boho/festival pieces because they’re lightweight, easy to photograph, and I can keyword-stack them into multiple aesthetics (boho, festival, western, whimsy goth, ethereal, dark romantic). The big takeaway: I source mixed now—brand-based + style-based—because a lot of the time they sell for the same money and just as quickly when you’re intentional.
