I filmed this trying-new-makeup video bright and early (iced coffee in hand) and tested a full face of products from pro-choice brands—because if you’re new here, that’s my whole thing. I’m Cate, I only feature brands that support abortion rights, and I keep an updated pro-choice beauty brand list on my Instagram (pinned) and on my YouTube profile posts. In this video I focused on a few buzzy new releases: the Rhode Glazing Mist, the Saie Slip Tint Undetectable Baked Setting Powder, newer Tower 28 BeachPlease blush shades, and the Sarah Creal No Further Questions lip glosses. For skin prep I used Dieux Air Angel, then misted Rhode Glazing Mist over top for that glazed, bouncy, elastic-looking skin. I went in with Tower 28 SunnyDays in Melrose and Swipe Concealer in DTLA, then set with the Saie baked powder—which honestly shocked me in the best way: lightweight, silky, and genuinely blurring while still looking natural-radiant. I warmed up with Rare Beauty Liquid Contour (I use it as a “kiss of bronzer”), fell back in love with Tower 28 blush (Dream Hour + Finest Hour are stunning, even if the packaging gets messy), and finished with Sarah Creal glosses. They’re truly cushiony, not tacky, and “On Top” absolutely took my breath away.
