What a truly terrible year, but a great year for makeup and skincare—so in this video I’m doing my Best of Beauty 2025. As always, I’m an exclusively pro-choice influencer, which means I only feature brands that support abortion rights. I went brand-by-brand through the 2025 releases I tried and pulled the standouts—the ones I kept reaching for, the ones that genuinely impressed me, and the ones I think deserve way more hype than they got. Merit absolutely dominated my favorites (no surprise). I’m talking about the Flush Balm shade release (Le Bonbon is that approachable bright pink I cannot put down), the Signature Lip Liner in Sportif for my “natural, sheer liner” vibe, The Uniform SPF 45 skin tint that actually functions as your sunscreen if you use enough and let it set, and the Solo Shadow Sheen in Glacé—aka basically the only eyeshadow I want. From there I get into Dieux for my favorite oil cleanse situation, Jordan Samuel Skin for a fragrance that hits you right in the memory-bank, and Jones Road for a truly second-skin tinted moisturizer (and a Brooklyn fragrance that gives classic CK vibes). Then it’s Rare Beauty (bouncy matte-blur blushes, my only contour shade, and a sparkly-but-not-gritty gloss), Kulfi for the gloss balm I’d bring in a tiny clutch, Rhode for my favorite lip shape + glowy mist, Saie for the powder blush exception-to-the-rule, and two highlighters that actually make me care about highlighter again (Sarah Creal and Salt New York x HLP).
