It’s time for my July monthly favorites, and yes—this one is skincare-heavy because I honestly haven’t been wearing a ton of makeup. This month could’ve basically been a Rhode appreciation video (and honestly, I might still do that), because I’ve been living in their formulas. I’m obsessed with the Rhode Glazing Mist—not as a setting spray, but as a “make my skin look expensive” glaze that melts makeup together when things feel a little cakey. And the Rhode Glazing Milk remains one of my all-time favorite skincare products; I’ve gone through so many bottles because it gives my skin that bouncy, elastic look and plays beautifully under makeup. I also can’t shut up about Barrier Butter, which is the most beautiful slugging layer I’ve tried—rich and silky, not thick and tacky—especially after being out in the sun. For makeup, I’m loving Tower 28 BeachPlease in Finest Hour and Dream Hour (bright but sheer, so not clownish), and I’m fully smitten with the Sarah Creal glosses—truly Goldilocks: not sticky, not too slippy, and they actually hang on longer than I expect from a gloss. Plus, I had to shout out the Free People Strada set because it’s basically saved my summer wardrobe.
