It’s fall, damn it—even if it’s somehow 80 degrees outside. In this GRWM I’m doing a full fall makeup look using my current holy-grail products, plus one brand-new star of the show: the Merit Lip Blush in the shade Maxwell. I’m also showing the limited-time Merit Brandon Maxwell signature bag (free gift with $125+), because she is stunning and I had to mention it. For skin, I go in with Dieux Air Angel to get that cushioned, hydrated bounce without adding extra shine, then I use one of my top-three foundations of all time: the Saie Glowy Super Skin Foundation (shade 4). It gives me that bouncy “angel skin” second-skin finish, and I truly don’t understand why more people don’t talk about it. I spot-conceal with Sarah Creal Face Flex, keep bronzer light because I’m pale as hell (Rare Beauty Liquid Contour in Gentle doubles as my eyeshadow), and top the lids with my forever MAC Naked Lunch. Then we get to the fun part: blush and lips. I layer Rhode Pocket Blush in Sleepy Girl with Merit Flush Balm in Stockholm, line with Merit Signature Lip Liner in Sportif, and go in with Maxwell—this cool rich berry that applies like a cloud. It’s sheer, buttery, diffused, very French, and wildly approachable even if you’re not a berry-lip person (hi, it’s me). I finish with Sarah Creal Lip Gloss in On Top because I will always put a gloss on.
