I’m super type A, so I had my Notes app list ready, tried things on, and only packed what actually worked. I walk you through my essentials—starting with bags (because you only need a few staples). I’m bringing metallics for this tropical vibe: my Zara silver bag, a dainty gold bag from SHEIN, plus a colorful tote that lays flat and holds the real beach-day necessities like sunscreen, a book, and my camera. Then we get into shoes (my biggest packing anxiety), but summer makes it easier: one short silver heel for the wedding, lightweight sandals/Chinese slippers, foldable flats for when the heels gotta GO, and one “explorer” shoe for excursions. For outfits, I’m all about pieces that can do multiple jobs—like a button-down matching set that can be loungy, styled up, or used as a cover-up.
