Travel day was long because we didn’t have a direct flight, so we did a layover in Charlotte and ended up on a super small plane—Val was anxious, but we made it and the resort room was literally stunning. We stayed at Iberostar Grand Rose Hall (the adults all-inclusive side), and I’m giving you the real vibes: learning the resort layout, quick “I’m not doing too much” get-readys that turn into a full beat, and pool days where I’m not getting my hair wet… until I decide I need a proper dunk.
