This is pure girl math, but my cash back was stacked up from putting my Jamaica trip on my card. I picked up a SanDisk Extreme Plus 256GB because I use the Extreme Plus line in my Canon cameras too. In my experience, the “Plus” performs better for recording bigger footage, especially when you’re shooting higher quality like 4K. I was hoping it would work smoothly since I researched it, but I was also mentally preparing to be annoyed if I had to go back to Best Buy again.

I kept the makeup pretty basic—really good base, no real lid color except maybe a little bronzer in the crease, and then a bold red lip. For hair, I was going for that Rihanna curly moment: big, fluffy, classy streetwear energy. It was a struggle because I wanted the curls fresh, so I was working with it still drying and trying to get it to give what it needed to give.

We went to Ponce City Market and then walked the ATL BeltLine. I wanted to record more on the BeltLine the second time around because it’s such a vibe and it’s perfect for testing a new camera. It was also part of a chill birthday hang, so the whole night was lowkey but cute.
