In this vlog I’m taking y’all through a few days in my life from the end of November into Vlogmas mode—starting with me trying to get ahead for once by putting my Christmas tree up on November 22nd. I was feeling two weeks behind every single holiday (fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving… all of it), so I invited my friends over, set the ambiance with my Hue lights, threw on Christmas movies, and made it a whole cozy little “holiday party” moment while I cleaned and got a charcuterie board together. Also—yes, I cut bangs and yes, she was stressing me out… but she was still cute. Then I get into my beauty + glow-up maintenance: soft beat/no-makeup makeup, learning how to actually use brushes so my full coverage can look more “soft,” and my current lip combo obsession. I also talk about why I’m super picky with skincare and treatments (especially with Black skin), and how I found a new Black laser tech through Groupon—eight sessions for $89—and she put me on to what not to use before appointments (like my super simple CeraVe routine because of hyaluronic acid). To finish it off, I take you with me to an ATL plant event with my sisters, show my outfit details (thrifted shirt, joggers, AliExpress heart tote, Target animal print puffer), and we end with plant finds like a prayer plant and a variegated monstera moment.
