Good morning my loves—it’s Cass, and this Homecoming Weekend vlog is basically a whole little glow-up journey from start to finish. I started my Friday off trying to early vote (because November 5th, 2024 is serious, okay), figured out the right location, and got it done in about 30 minutes. After that, I headed to the mall for outfit pieces since my Fashion Nova order was moving like it was sitting in a warehouse. I tried to make it make sense with the weather too, because Atlanta went from cute fall vibes to 30 degrees overnight and I was literally shaking in my boots. I take y’all shopping with me, try on a silky black bodysuit situation, and talk through sizing (because being “about to be on my cycle” changes everything). I also grabbed candles to set the ambiance—Cactus Blossom and Wicked Vanilla Woods—and then got into the real star of the weekend: my super-layered 90s blowout with curl formers. I show you how I make it full but not too full, how I deal with demarcation lines, and how I finish it so it smells good and looks even better. Then we get into the actual homecoming night—dancing for my life, cute pics, good energy, and that feeling of seeing everybody. It was such a good weekend: I looked really good, felt really good, and I’m officially calling this layered unit my new favorite in my collection.
