It’s a Labor Day day-in-my-life with a little bit of everything—because my plans definitely shifted. I started the afternoon getting myself together for dinner with my best friend (we haven’t seen each other in forever because work has been working). First things first: I had to fix my nails. I did a DIY gel set at home using a beautiful pink pearl shade from DND, and yes—I finally put on my UV gloves because my best friend Joel told me to stop playing with my hands. Then I got into my getting-ready routine: skincare, a quick toner moment at my vanity, and a super cute scarf-top DIY using a Lancôme scarf I got as a freebie at the mall (still obsessed). I paired it with baggier jeans for a looser vibe, gold accessories, and my little gold sandals. For makeup, I used my ride-or-die Maybelline Superstay 24 Hour foundation in Cappuccino 340—full coverage but still skin-like, and I love her down. The night was very ATL: pasta in Midtown, lots of laughing and catching up, and then a mini rooftop hunt that turned into a parking-price rant (because $20 to self-park is actually insane). We ended at Le Colonial for the most romantic ambiance, good music, and a perfect date-night vibe. I wrapped the night back home with a quick tidy and dreams of finally pressing play on Cheetah Girls.
