About This Video

I’ve been dreaming of building this one ever since I first saw it, and in this Minibuild Monday I’m checking out one of the newest LEGO DREAMZzz polybags: set 30698, officially called Cooper’s Flying Controller Mini Build. It’s a 53-piece little build, but it immediately grabbed me because you get a minifigure, a video game controller build, and (as expected with DREAMZzz) some pretty sick, unusual parts that just look awesome in-hand. After opening it up, I go through the highlights—starting with Cooper’s minifigure. The torso is a standout for me: it’s like a hoodie with a cool shirt underneath, plus some nice printing on the back. The goggles are super funky, and you’ve got an angry face option that I personally prefer. I also show off the weird little spider/animal thing (I don’t watch the show, so I’m not totally sure what it is), and then we get to the main event: the flying controller. You can pop off the bottom pieces and it becomes a simple handheld controller, or clip everything back on and it turns into a flying setup the minifigure can ride—definitely lived up to the hype and a fun add for any DREAMZzz collection (and with a quick head swap, even a LEGO City).
