In this video I’m doing a very specific (and honestly very satisfying) midsummer mission: finding the perfect Hobonichi colour match for July. I’m thinking in that bright, sun-warmed, “everything is glowing” kind of way—something that feels right whether you’re in a Techo, Weeks, or Cousin. I talk through how I approach colour pairing in my planner so it doesn’t feel random, and how I look for a match that still leaves room for the season to show up on the page. I also do a little reveal moment with my brand new Hirono, and I give you a closer look at why I’m so drawn to these kinds of desk companions alongside my journaling rituals.
