In this 2026 planning system tour, I’m walking you through a setup I genuinely haven’t done before: a custom hybrid where I combine my Hobonichi favourites with a Cloth & Paper A5 spiral-bound, pre-printed weekly planner. I wanted the best of both worlds—Cloth & Paper’s clean structure and “done-for-you” layout, plus the creative freedom and memory keeping rhythm I always fall back into with Hobonichi (and my own inserts). I share how I’m weaving Hobonichi-style elements into the spiral planner so it still feels like me: calm, seasonal, and flexible. I also go over the tools and accessories I’ll be using all year—pens I trust for everyday writing, small ink pads for quick stamping, and a punch system that makes it easy to move pages and add custom sections. The big takeaway is that you don’t have to choose between a structured planner and a creative journal; you can build a system that holds both, without it getting loud or complicated.
