About This Video

This vlog is basically my little January love letter to Tokyo—equal parts traditional, cozy, and just me trying to move through the city slowly. I start in Asakusa wearing kimono (one of those experiences that makes you feel extra present in your own body), then I head to the Vivienne Westwood cafe for a very cute, very “I’m romanticizing my life” break. In between, I’m doing what I always do in Tokyo: cafe hopping, trying matcha spots, and letting the small details carry the day. I also got to experience mochitsuki (餅つき), visited Shinto shrines, and went out to Mount Mitake (御嶽山), which felt like the kind of reset you can’t really force—quiet air, a little awe, and space to reflect. One of my favorite parts of this vlog is spending quality time with my grandparents; it’s gentle and grounding in a way that makes the city feel even softer. If you’re into cozy travel diaries, slow days, and the honest little life talk that happens in the in-between moments, this one is for you.
