Good morning everyone and welcome back to Being Roamers—this is our Konkan Road Trip Finale. Last day on the southern coast and we start from Honnavar with a total surprise: Apsarakonda Beach. By God, kya sundar beach hai yaar—proper unreal vibes, black rocks, jungle behind, and literally we had the whole beach to ourselves. Karnataka is full of surprises, but ek cheez ne dil tod diya—plastic bottles everywhere. Itni beautiful jagah ko log kyu kharab karte hain yaar? Honnavar se we say goodbye to Coastal Breeze (sach mein rona aa raha tha) and drive to Karwar for the Warship & Aircraft Museum. ₹100 entry, and for me it was goosebumps—K94 warship, aircraft used in 1971, and the Kargil-era aircraft details were insane (submarine hunter, 20 hours endurance, massive fuel carry). Then we head to North Goa, stay in Morjim at The Local (Social) Stage (₹2000/night) and chase sunset. We also call out the Morjim “cover charge” scene—4000 for a couple at one place was too much for us. Next morning, beach workout + breakfast at Bodhi Tree (nice food, but they keep salt low because Russian crowd). And then the real test: Goa → Pune long drive with Amboli ghat, highway breaks, and honestly—some roads felt like “gaddha highway.” 13 days, 1681 km on the car, and we finally reach home, fully crushed but happy.
