I like to look at the US podcasting industry to give me a really good projection as to what the Australian market is likely to do. Podcasting in the US started around 12 years or so ago, so it's still a bit of a baby but way more advanced than the Australian market. That's why it's an important market to have a look at to give us an idea as to what media people are consuming and where Australia is headed. The good news for all you podcasters out there is that podcast listenership is up by 20% with a projected growth of double that by 2023 in the USA. Australia will follow suit.
