In this video part one, I shoot for the first time with a camera lens attached to my ASI 183mm pro dedicated astro-camera. I just recieved the ZWO short adapter for the ZWO EFW electronic filter wheel. ZWO makes this adapter to fit the 1.25" and 2" filter wheel for both Nikon and Canon lenses. I will have a massive field of view using the Rokinon 85mm F1.4 shooting at around F2.8. I am trying to find out if it's worth doing knowing the short comings of using camera lenses for astrophotography. I am documenting this as I go over the next few nights of clear skies!
