Happy New Year! In this Plan With Me, I’m setting up my late January 2025 bullet journal spread, and I also have a HUGE announcement: we’re doing our first-ever Shop ARL New York City pop-up in SoHo on January 25th (hosted by Shopify), and I’m honestly still trying to comprehend that this is real. Planning this has been a lot of logistics and moving parts, so this setup is coming out a little late—but I’m leaning into my new mentality of not rushing myself with journaling just to hit a “perfect” upload schedule. For January’s theme, I’m carrying over my beginning-of-the-year fabric/patchwork vibe, but switching it into vintage wallpaper. It’s all about cozy, cottage/grandma-house patterned energy, with wavy vertical stripes, tiny icons (hearts, cherries, stars, flowers), and lots of blue to anchor the palette so it doesn’t feel too chaotic. I also play with a new stationery toy (a corner rounder) and my alphabet stamps for the “January” title and a quote page that says “one step at a time,” which is… extremely applicable right now. I also show my simple monthly calendar overview (perfect for big event prep days) and my weekly layout with a mini habit tracker, events list, and one big running to-do list—because writing down even the tiny tasks has been helping me a lot lately.
